Women in Cycling

    Celebrating Women in Cycling

Women have in the cycling community almost from the beginning. We started our riding journey needing to wear specially designed dresses to be able to sit and pedal comfortably. Today women can wear dressed of course or any other clothing that makes us feel strong while out riding. As part of the Women's History Month celebrations we want to honor the women in our cycling community. In the shop we have two women that hit the roads and trails. We also have an amazing community of women who are rolling at every stage of life.

Brett is a community member who rides as a way to deal with the stresses of college life. She explores the off road trails in the Rochester area.

Erin is a new voice and face in the store. She has been rolling in NY for the past 20 years. If Erin is looking to ride her road bike you can find her along the Canal Path or down in Letchworth State Park. More often she will be hitting the trails on her mountain bike at Whiting Park Nature Preserve or Bay Park West. Looking forward to the summer season she is doing two 70.3 triathlons and is hoping to hit Ironman Lake Placid in 2024.

Lisa spent this past winter preparing to open Brockport. She loves to ride and go to concerts with Dave.

Another amazing woman who is also an Ironman is Cristine. You will find her speeding by on her Speed Concept.

Each of these women are riding in our beautiful community. Say hello if you see them and enjoy the ride.
